This is a cute animal craft that is fun for young children to make and to play with and will stretch the imagination.

•toilet paper roll
•animal book for reference
•something to colour with,
•scissors,
•glue, sticky tape

how to make
1 Decide on an animal to create
2 Measure the toilet roll length and cut out a piece of paper to cover the roll
3 Show your child how it will look on the roll then place on table to colour the body then stick around roll with glue.
4 Draw the head arms or tail depending on the chosen animal then colour and stick into position.
5 Draw the feet with a tab to fold and glue to the inside, bottom of the toilet paper roll
6 G et creative using cotton wool, pipe cleaners, string, wool and glitter depending on what animal is being created
7 HAVE FUN BEING CREATIVE & don’t worry about the mess: that’s what makes a great craft session!
